The atmosphere in my classroom is very welcoming. I work with a small group of students so I have got to know them pretty well as the year has gone on. I think the student actually really enjoy their teacher. They always come in excited to see her and when she isn't there, they do get pretty upset. They are very respectful to our teacher. They always reply with please and thank you when asked a question. They always greet each other with warm smiles and talk about what they have done in their class. Our teacher always asks what everyone has been up to and what they're excited about over the weekend. The kids seem to always enjoy walking through the doors to see us and our teacher. I'm actually really happy I was put with these 4 students. They really are good kids and I wouldn't want to be with any other students than them.

For my great-grandchildren reading this, years from now, I want them to know that it'll be okay. Life is hard and full of unpleasant surprises from the day you're born till the day you die. Don't spend your life thinking about those moments. Spend your life appreciating the good things that have happened to you. I wish I learned that sooner which is why I'm writing this right now. For you. If you live the rest of your life looking back, you'll be stuck in the past. These moments make you the person you are today. Life shouldn't be about regretting your past decisions, it should be about learning from them and trying not to repeat them. If you do, that's fine, you have your whole life to correct yourself and become the person you want to be.

Distractions from School

Distractions and lack of motivation are what keep me from completing assignments on time. Sometimes a new video will come out on Youtube or a new season will come out on Netflix. I get tempted to watch during my work time, then I end up doing that instead of homework. I think this happens with a lot of kids also since most of them have phones now. The internet is full of distractions that kids cant avoid. My lack of motivation although comes from too much homework and having to deal with a job at the same time. Children don't have to worry about hour-long homework assignments from each class or when they have to go into work. They only get a 30-minute worksheet they have to finish in like 2 days. I would love to go back with the same knowledge I have now, I would pass elementary school with no problem. We all have to learn though and elementary school is part of this process.

To my Great Grandchildren,                Listen to this clearly. When you are young and haven't made all the mistakes that kids make, listen to this and when you are this age be safe be strong be happy. Don't give in to what people say about you, you are perfect and beautiful and don't let anyone tell you differently. I am proud of you and I want the best for you. When you get to the age in life that you are in high school, don't fall in love with anyone until they prove to you that they are a good person and that they won't hurt you. They need to be able to protect you and love you for who you are. Don't change who you are for them ever. You are perfect just the way you are. I just want you to be happy and not let anyone ruin your life experiences. You don't need to be depressed you need to live your best life. Don't ever let the person you think will always be there for you get you down, times change, people change. You let your guard down ...
